Grays Thurrock Rotary Donates Christmas Monies

Our four nominated charities received their donation cheques this week at a presentation lunch at Orsett Hall Hotel
Pictured above are Peter Hall from Little Haven's Children's Hospice, Julie Kuhl from Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital,Terri Carroll from Treetops School Grays and Anne French from Barnardos seen here with President Iain Ramsay each celebrating receiving their cheque for £2222.50 each.
Additional certificates of appreciation were given out to two members of the club, Mark Dvorkin and Clive Attwood who had showed devotion above and beyond the call of duty during the campaign, the Supermarkets Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda for their generosity, The Orchard Garden Centre who once again counted all our monies (by hand) and banked it all and the Thurrock Explorer Scouts and Thurrock Sea Cadets for their invaluable help both of whom received cheques from the club funds for £200 to aid them in the coming year.
