Saturday 26th April saw 30 students from the Hathaway Academy and Convent school complete the final section of their Leadership and Management Program (LAMP).
The students, in front of Institute approved external assessors had to give a presentation on an activity they had completed as part of the course and the part they played in the project. Following the team presentation the students were interviewed on a one-to-one basis.
We are delighted to announce all the students reached the required level to gain the award. However, the grade being awarded is still unknown as the Institute must review the documentation and we should know the results before long. Rtn Raj Mohile and Nicholas Wilkinson were delighted with the result. Together with Rtn Mark Jones (not pictured) they said it showed what the youth of Thurrock could achieve.
